WW II Veteran in Danger of Freezing Saved by Fellow Veterans

The polar vortex has been rough for everyone. 

When the Fox Valley Veterans council leanred of a 92 year old World War II veteran who was awaiting approval to seek money to fix burst frozen pipes, they didnt hesistate to wait. The council, which maintains an emergency fund to assist veterans in need voted in favor to help the man buy propane while waiting for federal assistance. 


If you’re looking to help someone, consider donating to The Fox Valley Veterans Council, which needs help refilling its coffers so it can provide assistance the next time a veteran is left in the cold.
