Our interview with Bob, further highlights his committment and passion in improving the outcomes of Veterans in the commonwealth and across the country.
Q. What are the reasons that you got into the work you're doing now?
A. I found a tremendous amount of support from Boston area Veterans when I was in transition and looking for a new career. This position affords me the opportunity to give back to those that helped me and pay it forward to those starting their transition.
Q. What has been the impact of what you and Brighton Marine are doing?
A. Brighton Marine supports Veterans in multiple ways - through our endowment fund to assist Veterans Facing homelessness; through healthcare with our partnership with US Family Health plans; and our collaborative support and connection of Veterans Service Organizations in the area.
Q. What is a success story of helping another Veteran or Service Member?
A. We've helped many Veterans cover the financial gap needed to find a home and connect with HUD & VA housing benefits. We like to keep their information private, but we know it is making a difference.
